After the first failed attempt to colonize Deathlands, she used her company's resources to perfect Dr. Huth's research into interdimensional gates, then underwent a genetic procedure that vastly improved her size, strength, speed, and intelligence, but left her unable to bear children. She knew of the end result, and so had her eggs harvested for later fertilization. After the procedure, she and a dozen or so other women who had undergone the procedure took a force to Deathlands and set up a camp at Slake City. She later died from an infestation of parasites that lived in the void between worlds (Breakthrough).
Dredda was cold, conniving, and not terribly bright - she cared nothing for the teeming masses of humanity on her world, but was more interested in being able to find a place where the elite could escape. After being genetically altered, she considered herself to be a life form superior to "normal" human beings, the pinnacle of evolution. Before her alteration, she was 5'7" and around 130 pounds; afterward, she was 5'11" and around 160 pounds; she had curly blonde hair and blue eyes.
