The City of Glenwood Springs was the Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Garfield County, Colorado, United States. The U.S. Census Bureau stated that the city population was 7,736 in 2000. Glenwood Springs was home to two of the campuses and the administrative offices of the Colorado Mountain College system.
