An example of a ix-legged panther for comparison.

Gravediggers were creatures looked like a gigantic spider, about 8 feet across, with an oblong body and 6 multi-jointed legs. It appeared to be a cross between panther, spider, and a few other things. It moved with incredible speed and agility and fed on both living and dead flesh, and was capable of digging up the dead to feed on them, hence the name. (Sunspot)
