Snake Eye was a premier assassin whose claim to fame was that he always completed his contracts - no matter the target - and that he was the fastest shot in Deathlands.

Snake Eye had than a little scalie blood - he had yellow, slightly scaly skin, black nails, and one snake's eye.
Background[]
When the companions were captured by a local baron, his son tried to rape Krysty, and she killed him. Enraged, the baron hired Snake Eye to kill all of them. The merc learned they were looking for a redoubt, found it first, and set himself up in the abandoned ville where it was located, then invited Ryan in for a showdown. Ryan, obviously, emerged the victor. (No Man's Land)
